As ideologies, services and volunteers are spread thin across nonprofit platforms, it becomes difficult to meet a community’s social service needs in a united way. Union County in New Jersey plans to confront this challenge head on. As the host of an annual consortium, Union County gathers together regional nonprofits in an effort to showcase sector 3 support. Nonprofits are encouraged to build off each other’s shared experiences and work as a team to solve challenges. Attendees will have access to unique resources and admission to multiple seminars to fuel innovation. The group is committed to building capacity, collaboration and continuity of a vibrant and responsive social service system in their region.
Eleo was developed with deep roots in social services and is honored to attend this year’s 2018 Union County Nonprofit Consortium Networking Conference. Our goal is to be a valued resource for nonprofits throughout Union County and all of New Jersey. We hope to meet organizations in the area and develop new relationships that will allow us to serve and support the vital efforts and initiatives of these important community groups.
