How to attract a corporate sponsor for your nonprofit: Part 2 [Video]

By February 28, 2017July 2nd, 2018Donor Outreach

When a business supports a nonprofit, all parties involved benefit. Nonprofits see positive impacts from regular donations and influxes of volunteers. Corporations experience great press and community recognition for their involvement.

One great way to bring corporate sponsors to your nonprofit is to foster volunteer experiences for company employees. Create formal partnerships where employees come out to volunteer as an individual or a group once or twice a year.

Next, once you have attracted a corporate sponsor, remember to highlight the business on your website and social media outlets. Additionally, you may consider honoring certain members of the corporation as being community leaders in their industry. These efforts will solidify your relationship with the employer and effectively showcase your appreciation.
